Brushed and blasted surfaces are refined with a brilliant silk-matt anodic coating finish, creating formal tension. The sturdy high gloss polished clip perfectly rounds off the overall design.

Designed by Great Britain's Jasper Morrison, the LAMY Aion is one of the latest pens to join the LAMY roster of premium pens with pedigreed design.

A master of restraint, Jasper Morrison does not give in to the temptation of using lurid effects or extravagant luxury in his designs. Instead he responds with "smart understatement." He appreciates things that have a clear desire to be nothing special. Whether he is designing chairs, stools, lamps, mobile phones or cooking pots, his creations always look so simple and natural that they seem to have always been there.  

As a long-time LAMY user, Jasper Morrison worked with LAMY designers to create a writing instrument in-tune with LAMY's design principles and his own concepts.   

Made using single piece of "deep-drawn aluminum", he designed the LAMY Aion pens to be as seamless and sealed as possible and then given a radially brushed surface that gives an elegant satin look. No ostentation. It is a robust yet handy tool which you simply pick up when you need it.
